  Went for lunch on a Friday about 11:30 and it was packed. We found a place to sit, and had almost immediate service. Waitress was very polite and quick to serve. The food was good, prices comparable to fast food, but you can sit and eat. Great place. Nostalgic atmosphere.

  Great diner food! Try the cheeseburger or patty melt. Fries are good too! Friendly staff and they work hard to make sure you have a quality experience. Price is fair and worth it. Pull up, flash your lights and enjoy!

  I want to give this place a 5 but can’t. Their food and ice cream are pretty good, but they’re very misleading about their open and closing times. Don’t go by google for correct times and don’t come if you will arrive within an hour of closing. The carhops will ignore you and your lights (even with waving them down and getting their attention) and make you sit until it’s 15 minutes before closing and tell you that they stop serving by a certain time. They made us wait 30 minutes before they told us they weren’t going to serve us! We use the outside service because we have a baby and like the convenience. Also, they probably miss a lot of money by closing so early during the summer. For someone who offers great ice cream, you’d think you would stay open an hour longer in the summer. What kind of ice cream shop closes in the summer before the sun goes down? Don’t go by the outside lights either, if they’re on, it doesn’t mean they’re open. I can’t tell you how many times people are in the parking lot checking if they’re open. I’ve tried to frequent there often, but apparently can’t be served. Very frustrating.

  Great burger. I tried to get alternate sides from the usual fries and Cole slaw. I ordered mac-n-cheese (excellent) and they told me they had deviled eggs. When I got my order, the eggs were plain boiled eggs. I asked about that and the server said no, they're not deviled...they are boiled. Then acted as though I was crazy for expecting deviled eggs. Everyone at my table reassured me she said deviled, so I did not misunderstand. The boiled eggs were just boiled eggs, nothing spectacular. Also ordered a milkshake to go. It was most excellent.

  I love the Hamburger Steak. It's been a year or so since I have eaten lunch there. Very nice atmosphere. So many people. Great food and great service as always!!!
